Devil's Hole

The Niagara Gorge is a spot that is special to me. There are a variety of paths to choose from depending on your stamina. This photo was taken on the upper trail at Devil's Hole State Park located in Niagara Falls, New York. The upper trail offers a good walk for someone looking to get some movement but may not have as much stamina. This trail has a slightly rocky terrain with mild rolling inclinations. It offers a beautiful almost aerial view of the Niagara River and Canadian side greenery. You can also catch a glimpse of the whirlpools if you head south on the trail. What I love about this stroll, is it can actually guide you all the way down to see the Niagara Falls. But be warned, it is definitely a long walk that avid walkers may find enjoyment in. The upper path is well maintained, however, I strongly recommend wearing some good supportive shoes when traveling this path. This scenery is ever changing throughout the seasons and that is the true beauty of nature.
